40 Days For Life

Last Thursday night I participated in Montgomery County's kick off service for 40 Days for Life. I was very encouraged and deeply moved by the speakers. Hosted at Crossroads Baptist Church in The Woodlands, TX, Pastor Larry York welcomed people of all ages from various denominations.

John Sherril led us in meaningful worship and then we heard from committed people such as Christine Melchor (Coalition for Life), Cindy Sunday-Powell (Pregnancy Assistance Center North), and Texas State Senator Tommy Williams. Each shared personal convictions about fostering a culture of life in the Greater Houston area as well as seeing a peaceful end to abortion through our most powerful weapon - PRAYER.

The following is a video that encapsulates the importance of the 40 Days for Life campaign. Pray about becoming involved.

After the service, people mingled in the Commons area where ministries exhibited resources and information about their specific organization. Act of Life was pleased to stand alongside co-laborers such as The Source for Women and PACN. It is vital adoption be represented in the midst of these pro-life services.

What do you think about adoption? About pro-life in general? Are you willing to speak for those who currently are unable to speak?

Search yourself then seek the Lord for what He would have you to do.
Blessings,
Julie
